Laura
Jean Cronin
Writer, Director and Producer was
born in the Bronx and raised in the Northwest. The move from the
urban environment of her Jamaican relatives in the Bronx to rural
Bainbridge Island
gave her a potpourri of experiences from which to draw inspiration.
She learned the art of filmmaking through an eclectic education
that includes a BFA in photography, painting and printmaking, a
three year sojourn of studying art in Florence Italy, an MA in Italian
Cinema, and a Ph.D. ABD in Film Studies at the University of Washington.
“Free Parking” is her fourth short film. |

Director of Photography has worked with and learned
from Haskel Wexler, Sven Nyquist, Vilmos Sigmund and other great
cinematographers. He has worked on numerous features, shorts and
music videos. He resides in Seattle, Washington.

Gabrielle
(Gabby) Brooks
Actor
was born in Everett, Washington and currently resides in Bend, Oregon.
Gabby was 5 and turned 6 during the filming of “Free Parking”,
which was her first film project. She has since been cast in three
independent films and numerous commercials. Gabby also models in
both Seattle and Portland. She is currently involved in the Children’s
Music Theatre Group in Bend, Oregon, where she has been cast as
Jungle Citizen, Safari Giraffe and a Fish in “Seussical the
Musical”. |

Monica
Meyer
Actor
is currently in 7th grade at Narrows View Intermediate. Monica has
appeared in numerous theater productions including “The Miracle
Worker” at the Lakewood Playhouse where she appeared as Helen
Keller. Monica was nominated for the “Annual Volcano News
Award” for Best Actress in 2003 and 2004. In addition to acting
Monica has a keen interest in gymnastic, skiing, horseback riding
and piano. “Free Parking” is Monica second film. |
